Made of anodized titanium, these tow brackets replace the original (5/16 dia. pin) Lancair parts manufactured from steel.  This makes them stronger than the originals and nearly half the weight.

Tow brackets are available for models with 1/4″ holes (235, 320, 360) and 5/16″ holes (Legacy, IV, IVP, ES), be sure to select the one appropriate for your aircraft.  These are the bent design and are intended to be installed on top of the strut or strut collar on models so equipped.  Some models with strut collars may require slight grinding of the bracket to fit perfectly with the collar (early IV/IVP).

On 235, 320, and 360 models we strongly recommend that you install MS21250-04xxx bolts (or kit 700-0092) in the front two holes of the fork (this bracket).  This bracket model has a large chamfer which allows it to fit with the bolt without the special MS20002C4 washer under the head.  More information on proper installation can be found below (235, 320, 360)

Do not overload your tow bracket!!!  Avoid using powerful tugs, quick, or jerky motions, this will provide the best life and avoid damage to the strut, fork, and other airframe components which may become damaged if the tow bracket fails.
