This part replaces the original thin and thick nose forks produced by Lancair for the 235, 320, and 360 models.  See the below writeup for details of its development and what improvements it offers as compared to the original design:

This product is available standard with a Type III anodize coating which offers superior abrasion resistance.  There is also a limited edition offering which is polished and then clear cerakoted with a UV resistant coating.  Both designs look sharp.
