This fabric rack makes it easy to store and protect your composite rolls or any other other rolled fabric products in a portable and compact footprint.  The basic design allows you to store seven 60″ width rolls but can be built for other lengths and number of rolls.  The simple reverse keyed slots allow you to use the rack to dispense fabric onto your cutting table without risk of the roll pulling off. All wood and hardware is easily sourced at your local home improvement store and a detailed material list is provided in the plans.  Pine or any hardwood may be used, the photographed rack is made out of standard selection pine and finished with a polyurethane to prevent leakage of any sap from the wood.   A focused day or lazy weekend is typically all that is required to complete this project.

Dimensions shown in the plans may be easily adjusted to suit your purposes including reducing the width for shorter rolls.

Plans come in a .zip download which includes a four sheet .pdf drawing with instructions and a cut list as well as a .stp file of the 3D rack model which may be opened in any CAD software.  The drawing has sufficient information to produce the rack from normal wood working tools and the 3D model is provided only for those that can cut the parts on a CNC.
